JOB SUMMARY

We're searching for heart-centered pet care professionals to provide day/evening dog walking, cat care, and house-sitting services for our clients.  We aim to contract valued caretakers who will work with us long-term.

COMPENSATION

 $12-$25/hour depending on the number of walks assigned per day. This position is perfect for someone looking for supplemental income.

​RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Visit our clients' homes 1-4 times per day (morning, mid-day, dinner, and evening) to walk, feed and care for their pet/s while they work or travel.

Must be available to walk dogs, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM & 3:00 PM plus evenings on occasion. The number of dogs you’ll walk or cats you'll care for on any given day will vary based on the clients’ schedules and when they need pet care.  We prefer you be available all of these days and all of these hours.  

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Live in our service area which is Glen Rock, Ridgewood, Wyckoff & Midland Park, NJ

• Experience caring for dogs and/or cats.

• Must be extremely trustworthy and honest.

• Have access to a reliable vehicle and have a valid driver’s license.

• Be 100% reliable (The Pack Dog Walkers sitters do their best to cover in cases of emergencies, but this is not a job where “calling out sick” is tolerated, as the pets in your care depend on you.)

• Have the ability to communicate effectively with our office, fellow sitter, and clients, by returning emails, phone calls, and text messages promptly and portal messages through our pet care app.

• Be able to provide professional references.

• Provide a current and clean background check to The Pack Dog Walkers.
